Bip it — Privacy Policy

Bip it ("the App") is a Hebrew voice-command assistant for iPhone, developed by Eran Katsav ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and the third-party services involved.

1. Data the App Accesses

• Microphone audio — captured only while you are actively recording a voice command. Audio is sent to Apple's on-device or server-based speech recognition (depending on your iPhone model and iOS version). Bip it does not store, log, or transmit your audio to any servers operated by us.
• Speech recognition — performed by Apple's built-in SFSpeechRecognizer. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details on Apple's handling of speech audio.
• Contacts — read locally on your device to match names you say (e.g., "call Mom"). Contact data never leaves your device through Bip it.
• Calendar & Reminders — used only to create reminders and calendar events when you give a "remind me" command. Bip it does not read your existing calendar or reminders.
• Location — used only when "Driving Mode" is enabled, to detect when you are likely driving and surface a quick-launch notification. Location data is not stored or shared.
• Music library — read locally to find songs/playlists/albums you ask to play. Not transmitted off your device.

2. Advertising

Bip it displays interstitial ads through Google's AdMob SDK. AdMob may collect device identifiers (including IDFA, when you authorize tracking via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt) and other technical data to serve relevant ads. We do not receive personally identifiable information from these ad impressions.

If you purchase the optional in-app product to remove ads, no advertising data is collected thereafter.

3. Tracking & Identifiers

The App requests App Tracking Transparency authorization solely to allow AdMob to use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. You may decline; the App will continue to function with non-personalized ads.

4. Data Bip it Does Not Collect

Bip it does not maintain user accounts, does not require login, and does not have its own backend server. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any directly identifying information.

5. Children

Bip it is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
